The Goshen Open Studio tour was established in 2005 to give area artists the opportunity to invite the public into their workspace, sell artwork and gain exposure in the community. The tour is open to professional regional artists working in any fine art medium.
The fee for each tour is $50.00. Fees cover each artist’s supply of brochures, a listing on the tour web site, a banner to mark artist locations on the tour, and all media promotion.
Your work: To be accepted for the tour, you are expected to have a large enough body of completed work to hold the interest of visitors.
Displaying work: You must have some type of galley-style space to display your work and accommodate visitors. The area should be presentable, navigable by elderly and young, and kid-friendly.
Your studio/work space*: We recommend you open your work area for visitors to explore. One goal of the tour is to expose the public to you and the environment in which you create your art. This gives them a greater understanding of your work.
Hosting on the day of the tour: Your location should be open the entire time of the tour and you must be present to answer questions and interact with guests. You are also expected to provide some sort of food and beverage for visitors.
* Downtown Goshen locations are available for display of work for the spring tour. Call 574.534.8844 or e-mail tourinfo@eyedart.com.

The spring tour is teaming up with Goshen’s First Fridays and WVPE to put on an expanded, two-day arts event in downtown Goshen. We’re looking forward to a broadened awareness of the event and a chance to make the tour a regional arts attraction.
