Eric teaches art at Bethany Christian High School.
Graber Designs specializes in Graber Family art and international art, and also functions as the working studio of local artist Karen Jacob. Karen creates pastel paintings and jewelry, both of which will be exhibited for the artist's tour.
In the gallery we also have watercolor paintings and prints by Ann Graber Miller, her mother Esther Rose Graber, and her sister Susan Graber Hunsberger; books illustrated by Ann's sister Susan and twin sister Sibyl Graber Gerig; and miniature pottery crafted by Ann's sister Jane Graber. We also carry miniature paper cranes created by Mia Graber Miller, part of the third generation of Graber family artists.
Ben’s fine art gallery hosts “Process”, a group show about the process of creating art. The show features sketches, drawings, sculpture, photography, paintings and doodles by Andrew Gerber Gerrit Huig, Dave Kendall, Leah Schroeder and Ben Stutzman.
Eric’s work includes functional pottery as well as one-of-a-kind pieces. Each pot is hand-turned on a potter’s wheel using several types of stoneware and porcelain clays. After applying a combination of glazes and firing to 2300 degrees F in a gas kiln, the pots are finished and ready for use. All glazes are lead-free, and clays are safe for oven, microwave, and dishwasher use.
See a collection of recent oil paintings exploring the idea of what it means to be “at home” and to belong.
A cooperative group of 25 clay artists share their studio space and ideas with one another. Their work ranges from functional to sculptural, from jewelry to large vessels and everything in between.
The guild exhibits work by its 19 members. Explore the possibilities of guild membership or participation in guild workshops and classes.
Dick, Mark and Moshe, will all have new personal work for you to enjoy.
The studio has begun a “revisiting” of many of our production works. So expect to see some “new versions of ‘old’ products” ... and we hope you will notice our new studio display arrangement.
As always, the production space will be open to you, and we will be making some new works while you are visiting us.
At John’s sculpture studio you will see freestanding sculptures, wall sculptures and sculptural furniture made out of stainless steel, aluminum and copper.
This spring you will see the making of the 15-foot tall kinetic sculpture made out of stainless steel that has been commissioned by the City of Dowagiac, Michigan. The sculpture will be installed in May in front of the their Middle school as part of Dowagiac's annual Dogwood Fine Art Festival.
